Welcome to Duello, a same-room multiplayer language-learning party game ("the App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Duello. By using the App, you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

• You may sign up using email or Google Sign-In.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other players
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the App
• Use cheats, exploits, or automated tools to gain unfair advantage
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Upload offensive, abusive, or inappropriate usernames/content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Gameplay & Content

• Duello is a real-time, same-room multiplayer party game involving sentence/translation challenges.
• Game content, sentences, and translations are provided "as is" for entertainment and learning purposes.
• We may update, modify, or remove game features at any time.

5. Advertising

Duello displays ads (via Google AdMob) to all players. By using the App, you agree to view such ads as part of the service.

6. Intellectual Property

All app design, branding, code, and content are owned by the Developer unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

7. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services (Google Sign-In, Google AdMob, WebSocket/Pusher infrastructure, Google Cloud hosting). Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain and applicable European Union regulations, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
